So cool when I checked it out from the library, that I had to purchase my own copy. First I went to NY to visit with the cover painting in person (though I was shocked when they weren't carrying this book at the Frick where the cover painting is showcased!?) I'm a painter so perhaps I'm a bit biased. Goya's life is compelling and his last works are amazing. This book is worth it.
