Warhol Details
From Publishers Weekly Photographer Makos ( White Trash ), a longtime friend of the late pop artist/professional celebrity, here presents some 130 black-and-white snapshots and portraits of Andy Warhol, taken between 1977 and his death in 1987. Warhol is shown with others equally famous (Jagger, Dali, Fassbinder); traveling in famed places (Paris, London, Great Wall of China); riding a bus, a Concorde, in a Rolls--and pretending to ride a bike. A breezy text, devoid of insight or anecdote, lavishly praises everything "Andy." There's a lot of name dropping as well. Copyright 1989 Reed Business Information, Inc. Read more
