There are 15 postcards in this book, and I'd say about half the images are pretty striking, and half are a little mundane. They have more of a matte than a glossy finish, if that matters to you. The cards measure 4 x 6 inches, and tear out cleanly from the book spine, without any jagged, perforated edges. There's a brief caption on the back of each card, giving the bird's common name and sometimes the country where it's found. All in all a decent value.
